A big congratulations to HALO for putting on a quality havester, good organisation and planning made it very enjoyable, thankyou.

I agree, well done HALO, that was a great race. I loved the laptops in the marquee, a great touch, lets hope we get that at every harvester from now on.

I'd also like to say Well Done HALO. Excellent event, course and organisation - especially after taking it on at relatively short notice.

That was ducking quality. Best relay excitement ever...well in Uk anyway.
Thanks to HALO for good courses and not too many bingo controls....in a forest of Bingo controls.

Great race put on by HALO at short notice - probably the fastest I've ever run at night even allowing for my inability to find one of the knolls Crying or Very sadThe nettle stings are almost gone now

Agree great event, the innovations introduced last year have certainly added to the atmosphere. Double prize giving was also a good idea.

Harvester was excellent. You can't beat being tucked up in your sleeping bag in the club tent 'neath the stars, watching random headlights flickering in the woods across the way, occasional shouts of encouragement breaking the quiet of the night, the swishing of long grass as the next legs warmed up..ooh it's made me go all poetic

Someone especially noted the following signs whilst driving home pointing to such places as Nettleton, Nettleham and Nettleham Fields!

A note from John Bennett ( LOG ) a formal “thanks” to HALO from LOG for an excellent Harvester. Especially Ben and John ( Fulwood ) for stepping in at the last minute to make our team competitive, and both running so well, but also to everyone who made it such a great event.

A note from John Butler ( HALO ) also expressed many thanks with similar comments to Mr. Bennett

All in all what can be viewed as a succesful event.

From Brian Ward ( Planner ) - On a personal note I would like to give a MASSIVE thank-you to Brian Slater ( who acted as assistant planner  ) and to Mike Cope both of  whom did all the really hard work in my absence during the final week leading up to the event. Also to Mike and Dorothy Smith for the more than excellent organisation. Michael Napier whom without I’m sure we would have struggled on the computing side and his more than able side-kick Dave Binks ( EBOR ). Also Ian Marsden for the outstanding job in setting up the radio links – what a great spectator sport that made watching the interactive displays! – Fantastic! …………..

and to Everyone else who helped / ran / supported to make the event a success!
