Primrose Night Event - Saturday 7th December

Primrose Colour Code - Sunday 8th December

Controller’s Comments

Most people commented favourably on the changes to the vegetation in Primrose with several ‘blocks’ now  runnable [apart from snowberry in the dark –sorry! But there was a path round it] and brambles greatly reduced.  This follows a three year absence from the area due to Foot and Mouth restrictions lasting longer at M180 Jtn 4 than anywhere else in the country and preventing use of the area last December. For Mike and I , Primrose is always a pleasant area in which to work but there are seaonal problems like the disappearance of a number of christmas trees which altered a vegetation boundary last week. Fortunately nobody was too concerned about this –apart possibly from the owner of the trees. It was nice to see a good number of competitors at a HALO Event again and thank-you to all those who responded to Max’s requests for help and made the job of a new Organiser less daunting.  Sadly there were not too many competitors for the SuperbString Course which he planned with great enthusiasm and many extra lengths of String but for the time being he thinks he knows where his talents lie and is looking forward to planning another String Course.

I planned –you don’t want me to write about it too do you?
