After devising a method of linking the HALO-League scoring into the proposed Score Event at the AGM the handicap proved very close - apart from the winner! All suspicions were unfounded as doping control cleared Mr. Butler of and under-handed tactics although just how he managed to scale that 20 foot solid fence to get to control 104 from the wrong direction only he will ever know!
Each competitor was given a target number of controls that they had to visit in order to count their score ( as is shown in the table ), if they collected all controls required of them ( a free choice from the 18 on offer ) within their target handicap time they scored over 100 HALO-League points - as you can see only our champion ( emphatically ) managed this feat. Scores were calculated in a similar way to HALO-League, with a minutes per kilometre time being calculated based on a theoretical "best-route" for the number of controls each age class was allocated as having to visit - Simple, isn't it!
