| After a 2 year gap the Poacher returned to 'Mediterranean' Mausoleum Woods, starting at the Temple in the northern newly extended part of the wood. Short course competitors experienced the infamous tunnel control for the first time; victory went to Woldsman Pete Harris with Brocklesby Estate's Henry Rayment in second. The Long won by Hull University's Max Guscott produced a number of high profile disqualifications; several punching No.15 at the short course bankfoot control in error. Control collecting went well, too well for 2 late starters-apologies to them. Mausoleum will be back in 2003! |
