| John Bennett's courses skilfully avoided the worst of Willingham's vegetation with the long course sampling the slopes of Hamilton Hill; long legs were followed by several short ones. Club treasurer Brian Ward had full value for his entry fee as he breezed round the long course to win by 3 minutes; Brian Slater finished off his Poacher series with his best run to date close up on table toppers Neil Harvatt and Max Guscott. Pete Harris confirmed his short course dominance with a clear win and was rewarded with planning next year's event here! Next week's event at Otby assembles at Mill Farm Caravan site. Mr. Burton has kindly put on toilet and washroom facilities- we will be asking for 50p a car to show our appreciation. The courses are 6.1 and 3.4km. respectively on the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds grasslands. Afterwards prize giving will be at the Salutation Inn, Nettleton. |
