Many thanks to Paul for planning duties this week, it’s a few years since we ventured into CDW due to the undergrowth issues. But this year we have been limited on the woodland front, as we have not had access to the full Yarborough Estate, Forestry England areas and Primrose. So using the ‘ best bits’ Paul was able to produce some excellent Courses which required full concentration as those wide rides and paths all look the same. I hope you were able to enjoy the flora as in parts it was resplendent. One Flora certainly did by winning the Medium Course closely followed by Rod. Other good runs by Isla, Pam, Karen and John B (following on from his excellent run at Twigmoor last week).
On the Long, Paul’s eyes were focused once again, but still not quite good enough to pip Liam, as in past Series every second counts. Good runs from Neil and Sean even managed a few high profile scalps. In mid division the battle of the Ladies was interesting with Helena, Kate and Harriet doing battle with only a few minutes apart. The latter takes on planning duties at Swallow Vale next week which will be a marked contrast with the steep runnable chalk slopes to enjoy.

The subsequent Poacher venues are still subject to change but P5 is now likely to be at Normanby South and P6 is unlikely to be at Weelsby but hopefully in a top Sprint area.
Thanks for all the support this Series.
