Market Rasen proved to be an ideal venue for Urban orienteering with it's mix of alleyways, thoroughfares, small industrial estates, parks, variety of residential and sporting areas. The undercover canopy in the market place was an ideal assembly area as there was no respite to the torrential rain. Hope the courses were enjoyed by all, and it was not too far North for the LOG faithful. The area South of the A631 (Queen St) could actually be in LOG territory, so they must have nearly felt at home. Liam and Holly continued where they left off last week and were worthy victors as was Elspeth who had to endure the soggy footpaths and undergrowth adjacent to the River Rase (as well as the Sheep!). Have not done the team calculations as yet - but I believe it was a close contest. Thanks to Chris, David, Neil, Isoldt and Lawrence for kite collecting - albeit one box 138 has gone AWOL - please check pockets, bags etc. Also thanks to Neil for placating a resident who seemed perturbed that a control was on a lamppost outside his property. Next Thursday the LUL returns to LOG Land in Sleaford followed by Caistor the following Weds.
