To become a member of HALO you must also join the national federation known as British Orienteering. The membership application is dealt with by British orienteering who also collect the membership fees on behalf of HALO.

There is a membership link on the top of their homepage, and the Joining British orienteering link guides you through the various stages to payment. You may also join, but not renew, by completing a form and paying the membership fee at a HALO event, although online joining is the preferred option.

Membership fees are for individuals; although a family may join, the total fees will be the sum of the individuals.
