Come And Try It Event. The event will be suitable for all abilities (especially beginners) and starts will be from 11am to 2pm (approx.). There will be four courses (White, Yellow, Orange and a Technical course). Registration and starts will be in the first meadow. Easiest access is from the foreshore entrance, using the Old Mill Car Park. Adults £4 Juniors £2

Thank you to all the HALO helpers who helped after the early morning Parkrun ( Mary (planner),Jackie, Brian, Paul, Mike, Peter, Sue and John). Not a great turnout, but understandable on a pretty wet and miserable day. Those that did turn up enjoyed their runs. Impressive effort from Mike - completing all four courses and the first HALO runner home in the Parkrun. Footnote:- coaches should practice what they preach! Next event - Hull old town. Urban league event 4, meeting at The Lion and Key, Staithes lane, Hull. Tuesday October 9th with starts from 6 to 7pm.
