Before congratulating LOG, I would like to thank Isoldt for planning excellent courses and having to endure the weather in both putting out, collecting and manning the start. Also having to replace a control at short notice after 112 went AWOL. After reporting the missing control my rerun actually meant that I was leading and even beating Liam at control 2.....needless to say it did not last especially after the dead leg suffered after hitting the iron bollard under the canopy on the approach to 6. Note the control has been found. Congratulations to Gerry and Liam on winning on the night. Congratulations to LOG on their clean sweep 🧹 on the trophy front, namely Alison,Alison, Ian, Clare and Liam plus the regaining of the Club trophy. Elspeth did come close and just pipped by Ali. Next year’s planning already started where it is hoped more accessible venues will be used e.g Gainsborough, Ra and Brigg, Don’t forget the Race the Castles Series in a few weeks including Lincoln and Beverley.
