Report | There was a great turnout of competitors for the final winter event of the 2012 season - despite very mixed weather. Over 100 people turned up, this number only included 14 club members. The competitors mainly went round in family or friendship groups and most enjoyed their first course that much that they had a go at a second and in some cases a third course. Many thanks to Paul Simmons for planning four excellent courses, the highlight being the small depression on the Technical course which had to be visited 5 times. Despite the frequency of visits to this site, each approach was from a different direction requiring different techniques to find it. A big thank you to Mary, Ken, Brian, Helen and Paul for helping out on the day. Simple results should now be on the web-site. Series results and split time analysis should be ready in a couple of days. |
