ReportIt might only be May but we have our first 2016 champion, Liam's victory now gives him an unassailable lead. So performance of the day goes to Liam with his one minute success over former Champion Paul. Congratulations also to the Brown trio of Lawrence, Kate and not forgetting Emily who produced very telling courses after having to modify courses at the last minute to ensure relationships continue with the tenants in order that we can utilise this unique (for Lincolnshire) area in the future. For their first time planning I hope you agree that they did a great job, even with the map inadequecies. Everyone should be fit for next week's 'away day' at RAF Cranwell - those who are intending to run there, must register with me (Peter H) before Monday.
On the short debutant Jenny took the honours, with Elizabeth second, the latter has been in the top 3 all season, but Hannah must remain favourite even after an off day yesterday.
Unlike brother Ben who won the Medium and is now well and truly in the reckoning to take the title - still very exciting finale with plenty of other contenders - Lawrence C's Joker played last night. Good performance from Rosie also now may give her the edge in the Women's category, with Megan & Yasmin struggling to overcome their injuries.
Next week on the Short, the first race will only count, in case they are unable to complete both courses. Also, Joker's not valid next week.
