Four courses ranging from short and easy to long and more difficult. Starts from 12 noon to 2pm. Fees £3 adults, £2 juniors, (£3 for a group taking part together). The Westwood is always a very popular orienteering area, as it provides physical and technical challenges in the former quarry areas as well as easier path routes for beginners. The event is very suitable for families or individuals and coaching will be available if required. Registration will be on Newbald Road, close to where the ice-cream/burger van is normally situated. Look out for the HALO tent.

Many thanks to Paul for planning today's courses and to Jackie for helping set them out (and collect in). It was good to see the Scouts again, their girl team showed the boys the way home on all courses. There were some good runs too for the HALO juniors, especially Holly on the Technical course.
