45 minute score event, 20 controls (odds and evens format) to find around the streets, pathways and (many) open spaces of North Bransholme. Starts from 6pm to 7pm. Courses close at 7:45pm. Registration and toilets at the Pennine Rambler Community Centre (HU7 5EF ). Car park next to building, if full overflow to shop car park 20 metres to east. No beer here (are you sure this is a pub league?, Ed.) Post match analysis and control collection base at The Waggoner's, Wawne. A couple of miles north of event.

Congratulations to Brian W who topped the handicapped table with an significant lead. In addition to Brian, Dean and David also got all controls within the time. Other results were closer, David, in second place, was 3 points clear of Brian S and Pete who tied and they were just one point clear of Dean. Holly finished in 6th place, but would have been 2nd if she had finished just 2 seconds earlier! Ouch! This was the first event in North Bransholme and there were many positive comments about the map and technicality of the area. It was certainly an area where you had to moderate your speed in order to match your navigation ability. Many thanks to the Pennine Rambler Community Centre for allowing us to use their premises. Only black mark on the night was a spot of mindless vandalism, one control found smashed to bits with a large kerb stone, not to mention torching of the kite. Bless 'em!
